Tryout Information

Spring

Spring 2012 Tryouts

Sunday March 18, 2012 @ The Elite Training Academy

Attendance is mandatory in order to participate in spring season. If there are any conflicts please contact us.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tryout time.  Wear black shorts and a white top.

$15 for facility.  Cash or Check made out to NJ Express Field Hockey

  • U14 2-3PM (All Middle School)
  • U16 3-4PM (Freshmen and Sophomores)
  • U19 4-5PM (Juniors and Seniors)

Premier Training and Tournaments

For the player who is looking to excel, NJX offers spring training and travel teams. In order to compete on our travel team, you must try out Sunday March 18.  Please see details above.  

Weekly attendance is stressed in order to achieve optimal play. Trainings will take place weekly beginning Tuesday, April 3rd through Tuesday April 24th at The Elite Training Academy. These two hour sessions will take place between 6PM and 10PM. They will intertwine a variety of upper level individual skills as well as focusing on building a cohesive and competitive travel hockey club.

U16/U19 Full Spring Season- $650

  • 4 Weeks of Training + 7 Tournaments
  • Tournaments include:
    • April 15th Laffayette College Playday (U16/U19)
    • May 5th Laffayette College Playday (U16/U19)
    • May 12th Monmouth Jamboree (U16/U19)
    • June 10th Spring Fling at Mt. Olive HS (U16/U19)
    • Total Dutch
    • Drew University

U16/U19 Spring Sport Conflict Package - $525

Must be playing a Spring sport

  •  4 Weeks of Training + 4 Tournaments

U14 Spring Season Package - $500

  • 4 Weeks of Training + 5 Tournaments
  • Tournaments include:
    • May 20th Spring Fling at Mt. Olive HS (U14)

Beach Hockey Hockey Weekend Tournament - Wildwood, NJ.

Morey's Piers and Rapid Fire have joined forces and arranged a weekend filled with sun, fun, the beach, and Field Hockey!! NJX is is excited to be participating in one of the few beach hockey events in the United States.

The tournament will take place June 29th through July 1st. NJX will be sending a U14, U16, U19, and Adult team.
