Instruction
We are presently offering three levels of instruction at different times of the year. Check our calendar to see what's being offered soon!.
Big Shots, Level I - This course is designed for athletes of any age (up to grade 8) who have never picked up a stick before. For the 11-week program, the basics of the game are taught, beginning with individual skills and building up to small-sided team play.
Big Shots, Level II - Designed to follow the Level I course, this 11-week course focuses on more advanced individual skills (reverse sweep, chip shot, etc.), and is developed with team skills in mind. We will work with the athlete on his/her particular position and give tips accordingly.
High School Elite Training - Designed for athletes in grades 9 - 12. Although this program has started slowly, we are developing the program as private to semi-private coaching, and as enough athletes join us, we will focus on the skills that are necessary to succeed in the high school game.
Introductory Clinic - A five-week course at the SuperDome which is designed to introduce athletes to field hockey. Each session is 90 minutes and is led by our adult and high-school age coaches. Tuition is VERY inexpensive and you will learn the game AND have fun!
COST SHOULD NEVER BE A FACTOR IN DETERMINING IF YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAMS. We can make financial arrangements that will allow you to participate with us.
Additionally, you are always free to "try before you buy"! If you'd like to sample a class to see if it's right for you, by all means, please come down and train with us!
